Remote video-supervised FCC Amateur Radio Exams using Zoom and the online examtools.org testing service are now available on a limited basis.
The CUARC VE team, following the lead of the ARRL/VEC, New England Amateur Radio, Inc. and examtools.org has joined a small number of US Volunteer Examiner teams that have responded to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements by offering remote video-supervised online exams. The exams are proctored by the required three Volunteer Examiners, using Zoom for remote monitoring. Only one candidate can be tested at a time, so testing capability is extremely limited, but our VE team has stepped up to offer three or more exam sessions several weekday evenings.
